Typical applications for the 10241901 are circulation of water, glycol and antifreeze in heating system for cars, buses, trains and boats, recreation vehicles, etc. It is also typically used in circulation for cooling fresh water in vehicles. This is a good allround circulation pump wherever selfpriming is not essential. This pump is a normalpriming centrifugal pump and should be mounted in a manner that ensures that they are always flooded or else be primed before being switched on. The pump should never be run dry, as that will burn out the mechanical seal in the pump. The direction of rotation of the pump is clockwise, viewed from the front towards the body see rotation arrow. Use full size hose diameter at the inlet. Reduced hose diameter at inlet gives reduced performance and risk of cavitation which can cause damage in the pump.
