Product Manual PDF (view)The AMT 276B-98 is a Stainless Steel Self-Priming Pump and Motor unit with a Viton Shaft Seal, 2 inch x 2 inch NPT Ports, coupled to a 2 Horsepower, 230 Volts, TEFC Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled, NEMA 56J frame electric Motor. These centrifugal pumps are self-priming (to 20 ft. lift) units designed for high volume liquid transfer, irrigation, dewatering, lawn sprinkling, etc. These pumps can also accommodate semi-solids (up to 3/8" dia.), sediment laden liquids, and liquids with entrained air or gases. Units are constructed of 316 stainless steel and include Viton elastomers. They are direct coupled to NEMA 56J frame, 3450 RPM motors which require field wiring, no controls are supplied. Each pump is equipped with a flapper valve to shorten re-prime time. Handles liquids from 40 degrees to 200 degrees F (4 degrees to 93 degrees C). For use with nonflammable, non-abrasive liquids compatible with pump component materials.

Applications
The AMT 276B98 SelfPriming Centrifugal pumps are designed for industrial and commercial applications requiring high volume liquid transfer, waste water drainage and processing. These pumps feature a selfcleaning clog resistant impeller capable of handling up to 3/8" diameter semisolids. Builtin flapper/check valve enables consistent selfpriming to 20 feet. Dual volute design reduces radial load on motor. Stainless steel models are especially effective in applications where rust and/or corrosion can develop in systems and also are highly resistant to erosion and chemicals.
