Product Manual PDF (view)The AMT 285G-95 is a Cast Iron Self-Priming Centrifugal Pump and Motor unit with a Buna-N/SS Shaft Seal, 1-1/4 inch x 1-1/4 inch NPT Ports, coupled to a 1 Horsepower, 115/230 Volts, TEFC Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled, NEMA 56J frame electric Motor. These self-priming (to 15 ft. lift) (to 10 ft. lift on aluminum models) are designed for general purpose liquid transfer. Pumps include a semi-open clog resistant impeller. Handle liquids from 40 degrees to 180 degrees F (4 degrees to 82 degrees C) with Buna N seals and 40 degrees to 200 degrees F (4 degrees to 93 degrees C) with Viton seals. Some units will handle liquid with up to 1.65 specific gravity. For use with non-flammable, non-abrasive liquids compatible with pump component materials.

Applications
The AMT 285G95 SelfPriming Cast Iron Centrifugal pumps are designed for circulating, boosting, washdown, liquid transfer and dewatering applications. Dual volute design reduces radial load on motor. The centerline discharge feature is specifically designed to prevent vapor binding and makes for convenient piping connections. All models are fitted with selfcleaning, semiopen impeller. The units will selfprime to 20 feet. Mounting base features 7/16" mounting holes, which are 6" OC. Builtin carrying handle offers portability.
