The AMT Pump # 285J-95 is an AMT Pump and motor unit # 285J-95 - Cast Iron Self-Priming Centrifugal Pump and motor unit, with Cast Iron construction, Cast Iron impeller, Buna shaft seal, 1-1/4 inch NPT Inlet port, 1-1/4 inch NPT Discharge port, coupled to a 1 Horsepower, 3 Phase, 230/460 Volts, TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) Electric Motor. This pump is self-priming to a 20 foot lift when primed, and is designed for general purpose liquid transfer. This pump has a semi-open clog resistant impeller. The pump can handle liquids from 40 degrees to 180 degrees F (4 degrees to 82 degrees C) with Buna N seals and 40 degrees to 200 degrees F (4 degrees to 93 degrees C) with optional Viton seals. This pump is direct coupled to a 3450 RPM motor, and is manual mode (non-automatic), and requires field wiring; no controls are supplied. Check motor wiring before putting unit into operation (see motor nameplate for specific wiring diagram). IMPORTANT : For use with non-flammable, non-abrasive liquids compatible with pump component materials.

The AMT 285J95 SelfPriming Cast Iron Centrifugal pump is designed for dirty water, boosting, washdown, liquid transfer and dewatering applications. Dual volute design reduces radial load on motor. The centerline discharge feature is specifically designed to prevent vapor binding and makes for convenient piping connections. All models are fitted with selfcleaning, semiopen impeller. Pumps are designed to handle liquids with solids content or dissolved solids and debris.
