The AMT Pump # 388J-97 is an AMT Pump and motor unit # 388J-97 - Bronze Inline Centrifugal Pump and motor unit, with Bronze construction, Stainless Steel impeller, Buna shaft seal, 1-1/2 inch NPT Inlet port, 1-1/2 inch NPT Discharge port, coupled to a 1-1/2 Horsepower, 1 Phase, 115/230 Volts, TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) Electric Motor. This AMT Bronze Centrifugal pump is designed for use with most gravity fed service applications requiring chemical processing and dirty water transfer. All models are fitted with a self-cleaning stainless steel impeller for maximum 1/8 inch diameter solids handling. This Pump is designed to handle liquids with solids content or dissolved solids and debris. It can handle liquids from 40 degrees F to 180 degrees F (4 degrees C to 82 degrees C). For use with nonflammable, non-abrasive liquids compatible with pump component materials. This is a manual unit, so no controls are supplied. Single phase units are capacitor start and have automatic thermal protection. Check motor wiring before putting unit into operation (see motor nameplate for specific wiring diagrams).
