The AMT Pump # 4260-98 is an AMT Pump and motor unit # 4260-98 - Stainless Steel Heavy Duty Centrifugal Pump and motor unit, with Cast Stainless Steel construction, Stainless Steel impeller, Viton shaft seal, 3 inch NPT Inlet port, 3 inch NPT Discharge port, coupled to a 7-1/2 Horsepower, 3 Phase, 230/460 Volts, NEMA 184JM frame, TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) Electric Motor. This AMT Heavy Duty Solids Handling Centrifugal pump is suited for liquid and chemical transfer, recirculation, booster service, dirty water and other industrial applications. Stainless steel units are especially effective in applications where rust and/ or corrosion can develop in systems. This pump is designed to handle liquids with solids content or dissolved solids and debris. It's semi-open impeller features a self-cleaning ability that makes the unit useful in applications involving up to 1/4" diameter solids and muddy or dirty liquids. A mechanical seal (comprised of carbon, ceramic and stainless steel components) isolates the motor shaft from liquid being pumped. The Discharge port on the pump casing can be rotated in 90 degree increments, with vent and drain plugs for all positions. Viton seals handle liquids from 40 degrees F to 200 degrees F(4 degrees C to 90 degrees C) Maximum ambient temperature 104 degrees F (40 degrees C). Casing working pressure to 100 psi (689 kPa). This pump is a manual model, with no controls are supplied. IMPORTANT : For use with NON-flammable, non-abrasive liquids compatible with pump component materials.
