The Barnes 3CCE-1 is a Cast Iron Self-Priming Close Coupled Centrifugal Pump, with Cast Iron Impeller, Buna/Carbon/Ni/Resist Mechanical Seal, 1-1/2 inch by 1-1/2 inch FNPT Ports, close coupled to a 1-1/2 Horsepower, 115/230 Volts, single phase, ODP (Open Drip Proof) Motor. This self-priming pump is designed to meet a broad range of general and special industrial applications. These pumps feature a self-cleaning, Semi-Open, Dynamically Balanced, ISO G6.3 clog resistant impeller capable of handling up to 5/16 inch diameter semi-solids. The shaft is Stainless Steel. A Built-in flapper/check valve enables fast consistent self-priming to 20 feet. They are direct coupled to NEMA 56J frame, 3450 RPM motors which require field wiring, no controls are supplied. Each pump is equipped with a flapper valve to shorten re-prime time after initially filling casing with liquid. Handles liquids from 40 degrees F to 160 degrees F (4 degrees C to 71 degrees C). It is designed to handle liquids with solids content or dissolved solids and debris. These pumps can also accommodate semisolids up to 5/16 inch diameter, sediment laden liquids, and liquids with entrained air or gases. Pump should not be operated without a suction strainer to prevent foreign matter from being drawn into impeller.
