The Gianneschi CP-40/100-230V is a Bronze CP Series Self Priming Liquid Ring Pump and Motor unit with Bronze Impeller, 1-1/2 Inch by 1-1/2 Inch Ports, coupled to a 1.5 KW (2 Horsepower), 1450 RPM, 230 Volt AC, 50/60 Hz, Single Phase Motor. This pump operates at 2 Hp at 60 Hz, it ca go as high as 1750 RPM, and it is self-priming up to 8 m. It is recommended that one install a clapet valve and filter with its suction pipe to prevent any backflow through the pump, and the installer must pump water through it either when rebooting it or when first intializing it in order for it to achieve the necessary suction to be automatically priming.
