The Gianneschi CP40-24V is a Bronze CP Series Self Priming Liquid Ring Pump and Motor unit with Bronze Impeller, 1-1/2 Inch by 1-1/2 Inch Ports, coupled to a 0.75 KW (1 Horsepower), 1500 RPM, 24 Volts DC Motor. This pump operates at 24 V at 1.01 Hp, can go as high as 1500 RPM, and is self-primng up to 8 m. In order for its suction pipe to achieve the necessary suction for it to automatically prime itself, the installer must pump water through it on its first initialization, or after a long period of disuse. It comes specially equipped with a 316 stainless steel shaft, a high qualoty ceramic mechanical seal with graphite inox, IP20/22 protections, Class B insulation, as well as a bronze body and impeller. It is recommended that one additionally install a clapet valve and filter with its suction pipe in order to avoid any backflow through it. Motor has B class Insulation, IP 20/22 Protection.

Applications

Typical applications for the CP4024V include bilges, showers, diesel and oil, liquid intake systems, galleys, grey water discharges, as well as in the pumping of seawater and fresh water. This pump is not suitable for viscous liquids or pumping abrasive liquids. Install the pump in a dry and well ventilated location with room temperature not above 50 degrees C. The pump must be placed on a solid and clean surface in horizontal position, feet down. To reduce vibration block the machine with the bolts to the surface and install some vibration dumpers. This pump usually does not need any maintenance so long as the following precautions are taken If there is a risk of freezing, it is necessary to empty the pump casing then fill the pump up before it gets working again. Make sure the pump never works dry. If the pump does not work for a long time it is better to empty the pump casing and clean it. If a filter and a foot valve are installed, check periodically their integrity and cleanness.
