The Groco WSB-1250-P is a Nylon WSB Series 1-1/4 inch Water Strainer with Plastic Basket and 1-1/4 Inch by 1-1/4 Inch Ports. These fresh water strainers are designed to protect from debris keep water pumps and systems running at their optimal performance. It has a white nylon strainer head and clear plastic sight glass, and a mount bracket is included. The sight Glass unscrews for filter basket cleaning. Use the non-metallic plastic basket for salt-water filtration or continuous duty AC or genset.

General Installation Locate the strainer in a vertical orientation between the inlet seacock and the engine raw water pump in a location that will allow routing maintenance. Leave at least 12 inches above the top of the strainer for removal of the filter basket for cleaning.
