The Iwaki RD-40V24-HN1V is a Centrifugal Direct Drive Seal-less Pump and Motor unit, 6.6 GPM rated, High Liquid temperature version, with GFRPPS Glass fiber reinforced PPS casing, GFRPPS impeller, Alumina Ceramic spindle, PTFE Teflon bearing, FKM Viton O-ring, 1-5 VDC flow adjustment voltage input signal, with 1 inch NPT male Suction by 1/2 inch NPT male Discharge Ports, close coupled to a 85 Watt, 24 Volts DC Motor. This pump is a small canned motor centrifugal pump powered by a brushless DC motor. The magnetic force of the motor rotates the driven magnet in order for the impeller to revolve in the pump chamber, where a liquid is transferred from the inlet to outlet. It is incredibly compact, lightweight and quiet, and has a variety of features, including a seal-less design to prevent leakage. The pump is equipped with a small, lightweight canned motor that is encapsulated in resin. A Brushless DC motor is employed as the pump drive which eliminates pump/motor failures due to brush wear, ensuring a service life equal to AC motors. This pump is readily compliant with international standards as the power voltage is classified as safety voltage (50V or less), which allows the user to easily comply with international standards such as UL, CSA, CE and GS. The DC power supply does not have a region specific voltage or frequency, allowing for unified usage. This canned motor centrifugal pump is directly driven by the rotor magnet that is coupled to the impeller. The pump chamber is completely sealed from the exterior by a static o-ring. The impeller is driven by a rotating magnetic field that doesnt require a shaft seal. In addition, these products have a simpler and more compact structure than pumps which have external drive magnets, which enable the pumps to meet a full spectrum of user needs, with emphasis on ease of installation, operation and maintenance. This pump has multiple mounting configurations, making it easy to find a home for these pumps. This pump has a unique dual bearing system that reduces heat generation and helps your system maintain temperature accuracy. This pump is not capable of self-priming. Always prime the pump before operation. Running the pump without priming water, internal parts are excessively worn by friction heat and fatal pump damage results. This pump can be used in high temperature environments, as the pump can be installed in an environment with an ambient temperature of up to 50 degrees C. It can also pump fluids as warm as 80 degrees C. This pump is manufactured under strict ISO 9001/14001 quality standards and is assembled with the most chemically-inert materials, so that the pump life will typically exceed 25,000 hours.
There are many applications that the Iwaki RD40V24HN1V are used in. Typical applications for this pump include Fuel cells with Cogeneration systems cooling and circulation, Medical applications such as biochemical analysis, cooling systems, patient temperature management, medical equipment, cooling for laser treatment; Physical/chemical analysis for Thermostats, Pure water equipment, Different types of analyzers; Vending machine Dispensers; Photo applications such as automatic film developing machines, Xray film developing machines; Semiconductor manufacturing, Semiconductor cooling systems; Surface treatment, Small plating machines; Solar power systems such as Electric water heaters, Solar battery heat collectors; Electric applications such as Radiators, and Heaters. With documented sound levels at 40 dB or lower, this pump allows for whisperquiet operation. Do not use the following liquids Fluids which inflate polypropylene; Paraffinic hydrocarbons such as gasoline and kerosene; Halogenated hydrocarbons such as trichloroethylene and carbon tetrachloride; Ether and lowgrade ester; Slurry never use slurry, which wears out the pump bearings.; Magnetic fluids. Do NOT pump Explosive or flammable liquids. A strong magnet is inside the pump. Do not use the pump with any liquid which contains metals such as iron and nickel. When low electric conductivity liquids such as ultrapure water and fluor inactive liquid e.g. Fluorinert are handled, static electricity may generate in the pump and may cause static discharge. Take counter measures to remove static electricity. This pump is not capable of selfpriming and should be installed lower than the supply tank liquid level. Always keep a liquid level 30cm higher than the outlet of the tank, or air may enter a suction line and bearings may be worn badly. Always prime the pump before operation. The pump is not waterproof. Do not operate the pump while wet with solution or water. Failure or injury may result. Immediately dry off the pump if it gets wet.
