Jabsco catalog # 11810-0241, Bronze Utility Pump and Motor unit. Bronze Construction, with a Neoprene Impeller and Lip Type Seal. Pump is Close Coupled to a 1/3 Horsepower, 1800 RPM, 12 Volt DC Motor. Ports are 3/4 Inch Garden Hose External and 1/2 Inch Internal Threaded.
The Jabsco 11810-0241 is a bronze Flexible Impeller pump with a Neoprene Impeller, Lip Type seal, coupled to a 1/3 Horsepower, 1800 RPM, 12 Volt DC Motor. The Neoprene impeller supplied in pump is recommended for liquid temperatures of 45 degrees - 180 degrees F (7.2 degrees - 82.2 degrees C). Use neoprene impellers for water and general-purpose pumping. An optional Nitrile impeller is available. This pump can be used for general transfer pumping where self-priming, 10 GPM (38 LPM) flow, debris tolerance and portable DC operation is desired. The 11810 Series Pumps are robust, portable self-priming utility pumps with a substantial flow rate. This pump is self-priming and will produce a suction lift approaching 10 feet when dry and a lift up to 22 feet when primed. Be sure suction lines are airtight or pump will not self-prime or pump will not self-prime. This unit depends on liquid pumped for lubrication. Do not run dry for more than 30 seconds as a lack of liquid will burn the impeller up. The motor on this pump meets USCG Electrical Standards (Title 33, Chapter 1, Part 183; Subpart 1) for ignition protection on gasoline powered vessels.
Do not run dry. Motor is not explosion-proof.
Bronze pump head
11.2 GPM output at 10' total head.
Compact design delivers high flow rates.
Continuous duty motor
Replaceable wear plate, end cover and cam.
Will not airlock; continues to operate even when air passes through the system.
Will pump out until the last drop of media has gone.
These units are inexpensive, versatile and adaptable for many applications. This pump is deal for Bilge Pumping, Bait Tank, Wash Downs, and General Marine Service. Non marine uses for these pumps may include chemical processing, recirculation of aqueous media including coolants and sump emptying. The pump may be mounted in any position without loss of efficiency; however, it is suggested that the pump head be down if vertical mounting is desired. The rotation of the motor shaft determines the location of the pumps intake and discharge ports. This pump's gentle pumping action gives excellent suspended solids handling capability, and it can pump very abrasive media. This pump can pump foams, emulsions, gas enriched aqueous materials, and is capable of pumping across a wide range of viscosities.
