Jabsco # 15780-0000 Pump

The Jabsco 15780-0000 is a Cummins bronze Flexible Impeller engine cooling pump with a Flanged Ports, bare shafted pump only. This is a Marine diesel engine cooling pump for Cummins engine models K38 / K50 / KTA38 / KTA50. It is the same pump as Cummins engine part 3393018 / 4314820 / 4314522. This pump is a two impeller pump, and has a flexible impeller for self-priming, and a bronze centrifugal impeller for flow. It combines the priming feature of flexible impeller type pumps with the high flow ability of centrifugal pumps. This pump is self-priming, and will self-prime at low or high speeds. Be sure suction lines are airtight or the pump will not self-prime. The Neoprene impeller in this pump depends on liquid pumped for lubrication. Do not run dry for more than thirty (30) seconds as lack of liquid will burn the impeller.
