The Jabsco 1673-1003 is a bronze Flexible Impeller pump with a Nitrile Impeller, Lip Seal, 1/2 Inch NPT Ports, bare shafted pedestal pump end only without a Motor. These flexible impeller pumps are self-priming and pump instantly with dry suction, lifts up to 10 feet (3m) and up to 25 feet (8m) when wetted. Permits cleaner, safer installations. No foot valve required. The bronze bodies and stainless steel shafts are well suited for marine environments. These pumps have replaceable cams and wearplates for extended product life, and they have one moving part a tough, long-lived, wear-resistant flexible impeller, lubricated by the liquid being pumped. No metal-to-metal pumping action no gears to jam, clog or become noisy. This Jabsco flexible impeller pump combines the priming feature of positive displacement type pumps with the general transfer ability of centrifugals. It will pump either thin or viscous liquids and can handle more solids in suspension than other types of rotary pumps. It operates at low or high speeds, can be mounted at any angle and pumps in either direction with equal efficiency.
Do not pump light fraction petroleum derivatives, solvents, thinners, highly concentrated or organic acids. Damage to pump may result.
