The Jabsco 18830-0010 is a bronze Flexible Impeller engine cooling pump with a Neoprene Impeller, Carbon/Ceramic Mechanical Seal, 1 Inch ID Hose Ports, bare shafted pump only with a 6-1/2 Inch A belt pulley. This pump version is supplied with a 6-1/2 Inch Diameter A-belt pulley. This pump has a nominal flow rate of 8.9 gallons/min (40 Litres/min) at 1500rpm and is self-priming from dry up to 2.4m (7.8ft). Pump will produce suction lift of up to 22 feet (6.7m) when wetted. Be sure suction lines are airtight or pump will not self-prime. This pump is designed for liquids between 45 degrees and 180 degrees F. Pumping colder water will shorten impeller life. The pump may be mounted in any position. The direction of rotation of the pump determines the location of the intake and discharge ports. Before installing, rotate the pump shaft in the direction of normal operating rotation. The mounting bracket used to support the pump must be designed to enable adjustment of the pump position for proper drive belt tension. 6-1/2 Inch A belt pulley.

This pump is a Marine Engine Cooling Pump. Jabsco engine cooling pumps are constructed with all bronze body, bearing housing and stainless steel shaft to withstand harsh marine environments. Cooling systems should be designed so the cooling pump operates at no more than 15 psi output pressure and 5 inches of mercury inlet vacuum. This unit depends on liquid pumped for lubrication. Do Not Run Dry for more than 30 seconds. Lack of liquid will damage the impeller and the pump components.
