The Jabsco 3010-1021 is a phenolic plastic Flexible Impeller pump with a Neoprene Impeller, Lip Type seal, 5/8 Inch ID Hose Barb Ports, bare shafted pedestal pump end only without a Motor. These pumps can be used where single or variable speed operation and plastic-epoxy material is desirable. These pumps are self-priming, with a nominal 2.2 gallons/min (10 Litres/min) at 1500rpm flow, are Self-priming from dry up to 4.9 feet (1.5m) and are debris-tolerant. The only metallic parts in this Flexible Impeller Pump are the shaft and drive pin. The shaft and drive pin in this pump are Hastelloy B - (nickel-molybdenum-iron alloy). This possesses excellent resistance to certain highly corrosive fluids such as hydrochloric and muriatic acids, fluoboric acid, oxalic acid. The operating temperature limits of the pump depend on the impeller compound. The following ranges apply for the Neoprene impeller in this pump : 45 degrees F to 180 degrees F (7 degrees C to 82 degrees C). Be sure suction lines are airtight or pump will not self-prime. This unit depends on the liquid pumped for lubrication. Do not run this pump dry for more than 30 seconds as a lack of liquid will damage the impeller.
