Product Manual PDF (view)The Jabsco 31801-0092 is a glass filled polypropylene diaphragm pump with a Santoprene Diaphragm, Viton Check Valves, 1/2 Inch Hose Barb and 1/2 Inch NPT Ports, coupled to a 12 Volt DC Motor, with a Pressure switch that turns on at 20 PSI, and turns off at 40 PSI. This pump is a Four-Chamber Diaphragm type pump with a flow rate of Flow to 4 GPM/15 LPM and it is Self-Priming to 10 feet (3m) when wet and 5 feet (1.5m) when dry. Be sure that the suction piping is airtight or pump will not self-prime. The motor on this pump is a Permanent Magnet type with Thermal Overload Protection. Ghe Motor and pump are designed for continuous operation in a 70 degrees F (21 degrees C) environment while pumping against 15 psi (1.05 bar) discharge pressure. Beyond these parameters, an intermitted duty cycle is recommended to maximize pump life. In normal operation, motor case will get hot. This pump features highly chemically resistant glass filled polypropylene pumps. It is sealless, self-priming, has low amp draw, compact size, and has run dry ability. The pump can run dry indefinitely without damage. The pumps are also easy to install with snap-in port adapters. he maximum recommended fluid temperature is 130 degrees F (54 degrees C.) Minimum recommended fluid temperature is 45 degrees F (7 degrees C). The maximum pumped fluid viscosity is 250 centipoise.
Do not pump gasoline, solvents, thinners or other flammable liquids.
