Price : $ 561.41
The Jabsco 50410-1251 is a bronze Flexible Impeller engine cooling pump with a Neoprene Impeller, Half Cam, Buna N Lip Seal, 1-1/4 Inch Hose Barb Ports. This pump is designed to mount directly inside the crank-shaft pulley on Chevrolet small block (305 and 350 C.I.), and 454 C.I. Chevrolet Block engines. The pump may be operated in either rotational direction. The maximum recommended pump speed (engine speed) is 5200 RPM. The maximum recommended discharge pressure should not exceed 10 PSI. When the pump is installed so it operates at or near maximum speed, the inlet plumbing must be designed to minimize the vacuum at the pump inlet. This pump is self-priming, and will self-prime at low or high speeds. It will pump instantly, with dry suction lifts of up to 3m (10 feet), and up to 8m (25 feet) when wetted. This permits cleaner, safer installations. Be sure suction lines are airtight or the pump will not self-prime. Typical discharge pressure is 12 15 PSI, and discharge pressure should not exceed 20 PSI (138 kPa) as excess discharge pressure may cause impeller damage. The Neoprene impeller in this pump depends on liquid pumped for lubrication. Do not run dry for more than thirty (30) seconds as lack of liquid will burn the impeller.
Be sure that the intake system is free from obstructions and the discharge system has less than 10 PSI pressure.
Fits all major V8 engines.
Probably the best crank shaft mounted pump available.
Lip or mechanical seals available.
Specially designed impeller for longer life.
Supercedes 22110 series pumps.

This is a Crank Pulley Mounted Drive Engine Cooling Pump specially developed for high speed operation on petrol and diesel engines, and fitted with a rotating bearing housing bolted directly to the crankshaft pulley, thus eliminating mounting brackets, belts and pulleys. As the pump body is supported by the ball bearing only, it must be prevented from rotating by means of a torque arm, designed and installed so as to avoid any side load on the bearing. This Jabsco flexible impeller pump combines the priming feature of positive displacement type pumps with the general transfer ability of centrifugals. It will pump either thin or viscous liquids and can handle more solids in suspension than other types of rotary pumps. It operates at low or high speeds can be mounted at any angle and pumps in either direction with equal efficiency.
