Price : $ 754.32
The Jabsco 6400-1051 is a bronze Flexible Impeller engine cooling pump with a Neoprene Impeller, Carbon/Ceramic Mechanical Seal, 1-1/4 Inch NPT Internal Ports, bare shafted pedestal pump end only. This pump has a short shaft for Caterpillar engines. This pump has a nominal flow rate of 235 Litres/min (62 gallons/min) at 1750rpm, and primes at low or high speeds. For a vertical dry suction lift of 10 feet (3.0mm), a minimum of 800 RPM is required. Pump will produce suction lift of up to 22 feet (6.7m) when wetted. Be sure suction lines are airtight or pump will not self-prime. The Neoprene impeller in this pump is good for water and general-purpose pumping, if there is any oil in the water please use the Nitrile impeller - see parts list. This flexible impeller pump combines the priming feature of positive displacement type pumps with the general transfer ability of centrifugals. It will pump either thin or viscous liquids and can handle more solids in suspension than other types of rotary pumps. It operates at low or high speeds, can be mounted at any angle and pumps in either direction with equal efficiency. Pump may be mounted in any position. The rotation of the pump shaft determines the location of the pump's intake and discharge ports. Pump is normally assembled at factory for clockwise rotation (looking at end cover). This unit depends on liquid pumped for lubrication. Do Not Run Dry for more than 30 seconds. Lack of liquid will damage the impeller and the pump components. The Temperature limits for the Neoprene impeller in this pump is 45 degrees F to 180 degrees F ( 7 degrees C to 82 degrees C). For continuous operation, pressure should not exceed 30 psi. For intermittent service only, pressures from 35 to 50 psi can be attained using 807-1001 high pressure impeller, plus an extra gasket.

These flexible impeller pumps are selfpriming and therefore, are ideal for engine cooling, washdown, circulation and many general purpose onboard or dockside applications. The bronze bodies and stainless steel shafts are well suited for marine environments. They can operate in either rotational direction. Typical Applications for this pump include Engine Cooling, Bilge Pumping, Water Circulation, Washdown, Circulating and Transferring liquids; Velocitymixing; Transferring soap, liquors, pastes, glues, glycerine, lotions and brine. On the farm they can be used for pumping water for stock and poultry houses and Booster Pumping. Around the house they can be used for pumping out flooded basements, cesspools, sumps and many other uses. If corrosive fluids are handled, pump life will be prolonged if pump is flushed with water after each use or after each work day.
