The Johnson FRE80-170 is a Cast Iron FreFlow Self-Priming Centrifugal Pump, 80-170, with Bronze Impeller, Mechanical Seal, 80 mm Ports, replacement pump end only without a Motor. This FreFlow pump has been designed to meet the needs for handling contaminated liquids as well as liquids containing air or gas. The compact design makes the FreFlow easy to handle, whilst its robust design ensures a life-long durability. It has an Oil bath for the mechanical seal, and the Mechanical seals are to EN 12756 (DIN 24960) specifications. This pump has excellent self-priming ability and has a no non-return valve required in inlet. The FreFlow is frequently used on sumps or gullies where its high level of performance and self-priming ability ensure outstanding reliability in operation. Thanks to its excellent self-priming characteristics, the FreFlow is a typical marine pump for example bilge and ballast pumping as well as for fire fighting. It has outstanding qualities for liquids containing gas or air, and is ideal for handling contaminated liquids. The FreFlow is the sensible alternative to submersible pumps.
